The so-called micro-size group hole stamping refers to the group hole punching method, which is very close to the diameter of each single hole and the thickness of the plate, if divided according to the material. Then, within the following proportions, the size of the hole conforms to the definition of the micro-hole: for the aluminum plate, the diameter of the single hole is 50% / 120% of the thickness of the plate; For carbon steel plate, the diameter of single hole is 75% ~ 120% of plate thickness, and for stainless steel plate, the diameter of single hole is 100% ~ 150% of plate thickness.

 

The so-called micro-hole spacing group hole stamping means that the margin between each single hole is very close to the thickness of the plate, although the aperture of each single hole is much larger than that of the plate thickness. The biggest difficulty in this way is the distortion and deformation of the interhole material in the process of repeated stamping.

 

The problem of the micro-hole/ micro-hole punching is that the part of the punching needle of the group-hole die is easy to generate the broken needle. The reason for this problem is that, due to the accuracy of the machine tool and the mold, and the holding problem for the punching needle, unnecessary scraping or twisting of the punching needle and the side edge of the lower mold leads to the frequent occurrence of the broken needle.

 

Pre-conditions for micro-hole / macro-hole stamping:

(1) the sheet metal factory is guaranteed to use a well-known CNC punch machine on the market. If you have to open it, if not, you need to buy more than one group of hole molds to prevent unnecessary punching and overheating of the die during the stamping process.
