SLA 3D Printing Introduction

SLA laser shaping material adopts 14120 photosensitive resin of U.S.A.SOMOS and GP60 Materials.

SLS (Selected Laser Sintering) 3D Printing Introduction
Direct sintering of powder materials(nylon12, nylon glass fiber, nylon carbon fiber, nylon aluminum powder, PS materials and various metal materials including: die steel, titanium alloy, aluminum alloy and CoCrMo alloy, ferronickel alloy, etc.) by infrared lasers.
The process of sintering of polymer powder materials is divided into three stages: pretreatment, sintering
superposition and post-treatment. Pretreatment: This stage mainly completes the three-dimensional CAD modeling of the model and is input into the powder laser sintering rapid prototyping system after STL data conversion.
Powder laser sintering superposition: In this stage, according to the structural characteristics of the prototype, the equipment automatically completes the prototype sintering superposition process by layer under the set construction parameters. When all the layers are automatically sintered and superimposed, the prototype needs to be slowly cooled to below 40 °C in the forming cylinder, the prototype is removed and reprocessed. Post-treatment: The strength of the PS prototype after laser sintering is very weak, and it needs to be reinforced with wax or resin according to the requirements of use.

SLM: Select laser melting(selective laser melting)
SLM 3D Printing technology is a technique that uses metal powder to completely melt and solidify after cooling under the heat of a laser beam. In order to completely melt the metal powder, the laser energy density is required to exceed 106W/Cm2. At present, lasers using SLM technology mainly include Nd-YAG lasers, Co2 lasers, and fiber lasers. The laser wavelengths produced by these lasers are 1064 nm, 10640 nm, and 1090 nm, respectively. The absorption rate of metal powder for shorter wavelengths such as 1064 nm is relatively high, while the absorption rate for longer wavelengths such as 10640 nm is low. Therefore, the laser energy utilization rate of laser with shorter wavelength in the process of forming metal parts is high, but the Co2 laser with longer wavelength has a low laser energy utilization rate.
Under the action of high laser energy density, the metal powder is completely melted, and it can be welded with solid metal metallurgy after cooling. SLM technology is precisely through this process, layer by layer cumulatively formed three-dimensional entity rapid prototyping technology.
